Hi guys, made the switch from fcp to premiere very recently. What I do in FCP is add a text layer on track 6 and make cuts in it along the whole timeline and then adjusting the text inside so that all parts of my timeline have the correct script item numbers in the top hand corner of the screen.

This way I have quick reference as to where I am in a script when at any point on the timeline.

Problem is in premiere. When I put a title layer on the timeline, if I cut it up, it doesnt treat each bit as a seperate title clip and so any changes to what part of the title, changes all of it?

Does anyone know if theres a better way than creating say 300 titles and dropping them on?
