    Hello there,
I’m trying to render an animated grass landscape, the plugin for the grass that im using needs vray to render. I’ve never really worked with vray before, is there anyone that could help me to find the right settings? The video is 1920 x 1080 and it’s taking around 24min per frame now (I have about 3000), either I’m doing something wrong or my computer is just very slow. Anyway curious to see if there’s someone here that could give me advice.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best, Thom

Hahaha no you’re not doing anything wrong dude.
Render times with vray are a bitch, they include EVERYTHING, you know when you put on GI and AO and all of the nifty things that make renders look sweet but your render times blow up? Yea, VRAY is like a cadillac version of all of those things. haha So get ready for insane render times.
You can optimize vray if you want but just be sure to check things out as you go. Try googling optimizing vray for render or something.
Otherwise, I would look into a render farm man.
