Best Software to transcode footage to Prores 422
What’s the best bit of software to transcode video to 422? Compressor is taking a stupidly long time.
Any recommendations would be appreciated! -

Mpeg Streamclip is good and fast.

I heard it produces inferior quality footage… Not compressor?

Compressor 4 will do a fine job and it’s only 50 bucks at the app store.

Best program is Episode. It takes a little longer than Mpeg streamclip, but the capabilities of this transcoding program are great,
