Best software to re-encode for Vegas to use

I’m not seeing this. I used AviDemux 2.6 64-bit using the COPY, COPY, MP4 MUXER, settings and Vegas Pro sees the file as 1080.

QuickTime Player also shows it as 1920×1080. Notice that MediaInfo says Original height : 1 088 pixels so maybe it was captured at 1088 but the MP4 file from both Vegas Pro 13.0 and AviDemux 2.6 says 1080 on my Windows 7 computer.

This was totally my fault, I selected a file that was created by Ezencoder and not the original. The original worked fine!! Sorry for any confusion.
One last thing, any type of batch conversion in Avidemux?

Yea, if you had Mac you could use Compressor to batch render these. If Adobe Media Encoder can read them you could do the same on the PC. Of course if you had a Mac you could just edit them in Final Cut Pro X without any re-encoding because the original file edits smoothly in FCP X (which I find myself using a lot these days). It’s just too bad Vegas Pro can’t handle them. 🙁

I have a Mac as well, and both Compressor and Media encoder. However, re-muxing takes way shorter time than either of those for the length of some of the clips (2 hrs).
