  • Best software for changing frame rate?

    Hi all

I’m altering the frame rate of a few projects at the moment, mostly coming from 24, 25 and 30 fps to 24 and 25 fps (or the decimal speeds). I know a bunch of different apps or ways to do this, but I’m interested in people’s thoughts on the best software, or indeed practices, for doing this.

To give perspective, I’ve had completely acceptable results purely from changing the output frame rate coming out of Premiere or AME, but haven’t yet gone to the trouble of auditioning whether FCPX or Resolve, or anything else for that matter, do a better job.

    G’day Chris.

Cheers for the tip. I’ll try and check Alchemist. Are you able to quantify how or why it does a better job? I appreciate that might be a difficult question!
