  • Best settings in MPEG Streamclip for compressing for DVD and BluRay

I am looking to compress a few batches of video from varying formats, MPG4, ProRes, H.264 etc. to DVD and BluRay ready files that I can drop in Toast and burn swiftly without Toast transcoding the footage further. Does anyone have any recommended settings? Thank You

    Hey Ben,

As far as I know you can’t create MPEG 2 files with MPEG Streamclip, you can only read, convert and demux files from a DVD or already encoded mp2 file. You can use Apple Compressor to do it if you have that or just bring your files into Toast and let Toast do it.
