Best settings for Sorenson Squeeze / iDVD
Hi everyone,
Newbie on here, and hoping someone can help!
I’ve got a sequence I need to get from Avid Adrenaline into iDVD via Sorenson Squeeze this week. It’s a PAL 16:9 standard definition project. The sequence itself is only 30′ long so I’m hoping I can do it in pretty high quality.
Does anyone know the best settings to use in Squeeze to get the best results into iDVD? I know iDVD is limited in the formats it can take in.
Any help would be much appreciated! I’m just not sure which format to get Squeeze to export to. I have googled around for what seems like hours and have done a search in forums here but can’t seem to find the answer.

What format are you working with?
HDV? DVCPRO HD? XDCAM?……..

Hi,
I got it worked out through trial and error in the end actually – just chose a Quicktime HD720 export setting, selected 16:9 in the drop down menu at the top of the app, and then changed the HD720 settings to export at 720 x 576.
