Best setting for exporting WMP file from AE7
I am evaluating switching from the Mac to Windows and am needing to export a file as a WMP file (to play on a 30″ Dell HD screen in a kiosk) from AE7. Not having not used this codec at all in the past, I need to know what setting would give me the best possible quality (or is there a better codec to use that will play back in WMP as well?)

Do you mean WMV files? If you’re going to encode wmv files I suggest you get WMV Encoder, many more options (freebie too) like 2 pass variable bit rate, pretty easy and fast. It’s only for Windows, Sorenson has some nice presets for wmv files, although I haven’t used it except the demo.
What the resolution on the 30″ Dell HD screen?
