    Hi,
Im hoping I can get some help. I just upgraded from 8 to 12 and i want to render a 30 minute video i just edited in HD. I know how i did it with 8 but i was never happy with the quality and hoping i can do better with 12.
With 8 i would render to avi then use windows encoder to render to wmv. Im happy to do that again although would love to render just once in Sony movie studio.
The video will be downloaded so also would like to make sure its not a huge file. The one i just tried in move studio turned out to be 1.5 gigs. I need it to be 1280×720 hd.
So can someone tell me the best settings please?
    Thank you so much!

The best settings would be to not use WMV which is a proprietary Windows format and use MainConcept AVC/AAC with the “Internet HD 720p” template. This will produce an MP4 file that can be played on both Windows and Mac and is very “download friendly”. If it’s too big you can simply lower the average bit rate in the template until you achieve the size you want.

Sorry I can’t tell you how to create a good WMV file because I never use that format.
