  • Best Render Settings From Da Vinci Resolve 12 Studio to Sony DVD Architect for Blu-Ray Disc

I am in the process of seeing if I can render from Da Vinci Resolve 12 straight to a format that Sony DVD Architect Pro will not recompress. My original source footage is 1920 x 1080, 29.97 fps, in a .mov file. I know that in DVD Architect, for Blu-Ray it will not recompress .avc or .mpg files and in Da Vinci resolve, the video format choices are AVI, Cineon, DPX, EXR, easyDCP, JPEG2000, MXF-OP Atom, MXF OP1A, QuickTime, and TIFF. I am not sure, but I don’t believe that any of those formats will render out as either .mpg or .avc files.

    My question is,
What is the best way to get from Resolve to DVD Architect?

And, I am just thinking out loud here, if I have to transcode again in Sony Vegas to be able to get to a .avc or .mpg format, what would be the best route?

I apologize if this is more of a Da Vinci Resolve question, but I was looking at it from the DVD Architect stand point.

Any info or insights much appreciated.

    Thank you very much.
