Best Render For Re-use
As the title suggests, I am curious about the best render settings for re-using video files for future projects. My current render settings make the clips unusable in Sony Vegas. They crash it when I try to edit, and use them.

First of all, what ARE your current settings and what are you using to render them…Vegas or another programme?

I render using Sony Vegas. I usually have hour long clips, that I only need about 5 minutes from for certain scenes, and I’d like to just render/save those few scenes, for later use, since hour long raw footage takes up a lot of memory.
