Best Quality for Exporting
Hi there,
I need to export a 5 minute video for an awards dinner. I have a feeling they are going make it a part of a powerpoint show. They have asked for a file that is between 2 MB and 20 MB (!).
I have been trying various exports through compressor and through QT movie conversion and haven’t been pleased with the results.
If I export as a Quicktime Movie it looks great, the aspect ratio is correct and the file size is just over 1 GB.
So now I want to export a much smaller file while keeping as much quality as possible. One thing that keeps happening is that I lose the 16:9 and the images are stretched.
Any suggestions are very welcome.
Details: shot on HDV (NTSC), 1080i, 30p, 16:9

Hi Wendy,
Export with QT Conversion, or better with Compressor.
Try H264.
Reduce the size to 640x 360.
Key Frameas: Automatic
Set Limit data rate 400 Kbps.
Field Reorder. Double pass.
Set the audio AAC 96Kbps.
