Amazon I think sells for the same price. They claim to have $200 worth of rebates.

My cost through distribution is $751.56 at Ingram Micro, $755.21 at D&H, so B&H/Amazon prices are likely to the lowest possible, or really close to it.

I buy from Amazon all the time but didn’t think they would carry this so I never even checked.

I looked at the 200 dollars in rebates but I have the feeling that is a mistake. I think it’s $100 for the PC version and $100 for the Mac version. And they added them together.

I have the feeling $750 with free shipping and $100 rebate is about the best price.

I´d buy the GTX285 instead. They are available on Ebay for mac, for less than half of that…

OK, but I have the feeling I have read something about stability problems with the 470 card? Or is my memory playing hide and seek with me?

I read about memory overflow problems using it as a single card solution, yes.
But I plan to replace my GTX 285 with it and keep the GT 120 for now.
I need something to drive that cinema display and minidisplay port is not available on the 470.
Lets see, if it doubles the performance, its worth the gamble I think.
I will share test results as soon as it lands.

So with a GT 120 for the computer display, and with the GTX 470 only for CUDA… the plan is that it will work. But if you´d ONLY have one card in your computer, one 470-card, then people have had problems?

I am mighty interested in hearing about your experiences with the 470. If it is solid I will definetly get some 470 cards. 🙂

I saw that they also have the 480, that’s 440 Cuda Cores, but they also mention that it prefers an external powersupply. Anyone have any experience with it?

I’ve had no issues with the Flashed GTX 285, but the 285 was at one point a supported card, so I had a little less trepidation.

hey ! has you tested ? This fermi cards, are not stable in the hackintoshes… at least 460 is a pain !
