I’m Curious what would be the general consenses on the best practice for importing a Final Wav that has come from a DAW. Aussming the final mix is a Stereo file, do you import as a stereo clip and put it in a new stereo track, or do you import it as a two Monos and in the audio mixer pan L and R.

Also if you do bring in Mono tracks do you delete/replace all your old audio and place the final mix in tracks 1 and 2, or do you just create new tracks at the bottem?

    Thank you.

No difference between using stereo or mono tracks.
stereo tracks are a recent addition to Media Composer, so most of us old school users will use mono tracks.

I would duplicate the sequence, then delete the audio. Bring the new tracks into the copy, but there is no reason why that’s any better than what you suggested. Again, personal preference.
