Best Practices for rendering 24 fps footage
So with my Cannon T6 Rebel DSLR, I’m shooting video footage at 24 fps to get that film look.
But what is the best practice for rendering this footage out for:
YouTube & Social Media
DVD
BluRay
Streaming platforms like Amazon, etc.
I’m guessing I have to take the 24 fps footage, and then render it out at the 29.97 fps broadcast standard?
What is the best practice for doing that?

afaik, they should all take it natively. youtube doesn’t allow interlaced. dvd authoring will add 3:2 pulldown flag on the fly, bluray will go native, amazon needs progressive too. I don’t see a problem. you don’t need broadcast unless your..broadcasting.

You mean 23.976…right? I hope you’re not putting 23.976 media on a 24.00 timeline!
Any of those platforms can handle any framerate natively, so use the native framerate for your footage in your timeline, and render it off the same way.
