So the client wants Pro Res 422 files for Broadcast all the sudden and being a Windows PP6 user I find myself in a time crunch now. Been looking online for a converter but I really don’t want to lose quality. Anybody have any good suggestions hopefully inexpensive???

For $500 you can purchase a Matrox HD Compress Card – it’s a dedicated hardware encoder that is approximately 5 to 6 times faster than encoding via software.

FYI, it works with all major encoding software, including AME, so once installed, you’ll see a zillion special Matrox presets within AME, each of which initiates the encode process through the Matrox hardware. It’s easy as pie.
