Best online training for Advanced techniques?
looking for some online training, on the more advanced stuff, like keyboard trimming, etc. something that really dives into the shortcuts. Coming from a mostly Avid background i want to be able to do most stuff w/o having to reach for the mouse.
Ive seen lynda, larry jordan, etc all with a reasonable monthly membership fee.. are there better ones?. I’m leaning towards Larry Jordans, but i don’t want it to be like all beginner stuff.
Ive poked around in FCP-X enough to know what its all about, but now its time to see if i can and would actually cut in it. Got the weekend off so i figure nows a good time to jump in and see whats up.

Michael Wohl has some good ones on MacPro Video. I didn’t like Larry Jordans FCPX training, it’s fine for someone just starting out IMO but way too slimmed down if you actually cut for a living.
Ripple’s stuff is also better than Lynda and LJ, again IMO.

Ripple has an “advanced” tutorial.
Also, you might try searching for FCPX keyboard editing.
Last but not least, opening the keyboard shortcut editor and simply exploring the shortcuts is a good way to learn for me.
The editor is even divided up in to sections “Editing”, etc, and also shows you all the modifier commands for any key. It’s a bit more manual process, but it’s still extremely intuitive, at least for me.
