Do you mean for sill images and for audio files? Still images should not be much larger than the frame size of the Project they’re being used in. The exception is if you plan to enlarge them to zoom in on them, then make them a bit larger. For a 1080 timeline, 4K should be fine for a still image. And at 75dpi.

As for audio files, depends how you get them. What format are they in? What bit-rate, what sample rate? Converting an audio (or video) file to a better codec doesn’t make them better.

yes, audio and image. im exporting pro res 422 and which is best for sound quality? better performance or better quality. sorry for late reply

Video codecs won’t affect audio quality at all. Audio will stay the same.
