  • Best method to create a 3D fold out effect that reveals the layer underneath

    Hi guys

I have a square logo (200×200) that is sitting inside a PAL widescreen comp (1024×57). THe logo is on a black BG. I then want it to unfold itself with other squares that will fill the frame so that the in the end the frame is filled with a grid of these same sized sqaures. However instead of the logo repeating in the grid, i want it to be the layer underneath that is shown. I DONT want this to be an alpha matte. When the sqaures fold out, the vision of the underlying layer needs to be in this square for every one of the panels.

Hope that makes sense. How is the best way to tackle this?

    Thanks
    Chris
