So for the last couple years I have been shooting with my Sony HDR-CX150 at 1080×1920 30p. So I just got myself a new Gopro Hero3 black edition and shooting in 1080×1920 at 60p (progressive).

Whats going to be the best method to using both formats in a single project? Most of the footage will be from the Sony HDR camera.

I have not experimented with any of it yet and was hoping for a little insight since everybody here has a been a wealth of knowledge and helped me out tons… Thank you

[Michael Kash] ” Most of the footage will be from the Sony HDR camera.”

I believe you’ve answered your own question?

I may not understand the question but I also you the Gopro black and shoot at 60fps and mix it directly with my other footage. The advantage of course is that I can make a slow motion with it but as far as I know there’s not an issue with using it.

So I can use 30p and 60p footage in the same project?
