Has anyone had any luck using rigid body springs to rig a car suspension system? I’ve no luck with it so far. Or is there a better (and faster) way? I’m using a ray collision Xpresso expression to lock the wheels to the ground, but I’m having trouble getting the body of the vehicle to follow the terrain with the proper rotation and bounce in a believable way. I could use full dynamics, but would prefer not to lose the ability to keyframe (which is why I was trying using springs). Ideally I’d like to use Xpresso for the positioning of the vehicle body relative to the ground and the wheels so I can continue to use keyframing for the vehicle path. I appreciate any ideas.
