  Best m4v compression settings?

  Hi All,

  I’m not getting the best results exporting movies to M4V for iPod/iTunes viewing out of FCP. I was wondering if you all could perhaps recommend some other software to do the job? Is Compressor the way to go?

  What are some settings that you would recommend. The project was shot on the SDX900, edited at Anamorphic 23.98 DV50 and then upres’d to Anamorphic 10-bit 23.98. When I compare it to shows downloaded from iTunes, it just doesn’t compare.

  Also, FCP won’t export anamorphic files to the proper 16×9 dimensions.
