Thanks but that’s essentially the same keyboard I have now, with labeled keys. I was thinking maybe there’s one out there with perhaps some sort of expanded functionality.

Like what? Programmable buttons? Maybe a Contour Shuttle might be the thing? Logitech keyboards have programmable keys, and they should work with OS X. Just pick your AE shortcut and program it.

Can’t see spending $2400 on it though.
