I’d like to add more drives internally and create a RAID 0 for video production (DV work right now, but DVCProHD in the near future).

I’ve found different options for mounts and controller cards from Sonnet, Wiebtech, RocketRAID, Digital Virgin, MaxConnect and Granite Digital.

Can anyone recommend or give their own pros and cons for these different systems?

    Thanks,
    dgh

Your options for an internal SATA installation of more than obe disk are very limited and very limiting to you as well. An external SATA enclosure would allow you to swap out drives as needed and to expand to larger drives as needed, and it creates no overheating issues. Sure, some have done it, even one with popsickle sticks, but why? SATA drives are incrediblty inexpensive — invest in your future and spend a few hundred on a SATA enclosure. Check out the 2 and 4 bay solutions at Firmtek — many here, myself included use their gear and we all love it.
