    Best internal RAID card for MacPro ?

    I know the RAID card Apple is offering, but it seems quite pricey to me. Is there a reliable and cheaper alternative to configure a RAID5 inside of a MacPro?

    Uli, look at the Atto R380 or the Areca family of SAS controllers. You may not save that much, but the Atto seems to be tops in its class right now.
