Best Image Browser/Catalog app
I know this is a Photoshop forum but I though it would be the best place for this post.
I’m looking for input on the best image broswer / catalog application. We have thousands of images that we use internally (govt. organization). I know I can use Adobe Bridge/Version Cue to accomplish what we need but the actual users don’t need any photo editing/layout capabilities – just image browsing, cataloging, uploading etc. We need to be able to:
1) add keywords for searching
2) share images across LAN
3) search/view using a browser-based or standalone app
4) view thumbnails and preview fullsize images
5) upload images to network locationI’m sure there’s more. Basically we need to be able to share and search images that are located on a network drive between multiple users that may or may not be in the same building (but are on the same network).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your input!
