Best HD Camcorder to work with Composer — experiences? recommendations?
Ok – we are now able to get an HD camcorder, and must do so quickly. Help! Panasonic? Sony? Formats?
We are working on AVID Media Composer, doing primarily corporate work.
Any experiences or recommendations you may be able to share regarding camcorders in the under $10,000 range would be great, most especially regarding workflow and compatibility. Current camcorder is a Sony PD150, which has been great.

I have some experience working with both Sony and Panasonic HD cameras, and I personally prefer Panasonics for their well-designed interface.
The website http://www.camcorderinfo.com contains the most useful reviews and comparisons of cameras that I have found, as well as a forum section where you may find consumer feedback on a particular camera.
