Best graphics card for rendering?
Hi there. I need a little bit of light shined on what type of graphics card is best. I prefer laptops rather than desktops because of convenience. I currently have a Toshiba Satellite L500-13W with 4GB RAM, AMD 4500 series, dual core 2.00GHz, and I’ve heard that AMD in generally better than Intel for 3D work? I know NVIDIA is the best but thats not in my price range at the moment so could someone correct me and tell me which is generally, the best and also the fastest for rendering? I’m not looking for any individual parts, just seeing which one is worth buying, an intel laptop or an AMD one,

As far as I know, Rendering is basically tied to your CPU and has nothing to do with the graphics card. The graphics card will make a difference when using Enhanced Open GL in modeling and such.
