  • Best format to export to for previewing work….

I was wondering what settings are good to create a small video w/audio preview file when exporting out of Premiere just to check out my work?

I tried using the stock settings for YouTube HD and the video was not very smooth. Looks like it is skipping frames.

The original content is at 23.976fps and 1920×1080 resolution.

    Thanks!!

When I want to check my work or let some of my peers see it for peer review I usually export as a simple MPEG1, It work great for checking everything out and is a small file.

Try export to h.264(mp4 file format) or flv – small and best quality. I use these for preview export.
