Best external drive solution for Mac Book Pro
Portability and ease of setup is first criteria, FW 800 second, want at least 200 gigs is third, and small size/light weight is fourth.
Right now i have a spare LaCie 150 gig drive FW 800 which works fine, is there anything else that will be closer to my specs?
I will be using this for on-site work, casting, rough cuts etc, so it’s not too demanding.

Yes. The G-Raid Mini. I have one for same-day-edits and it works great. It’s a 2 disc 200 Gbyte array, FW400/800. It’s quite small, draws power from my MBPro’s FW port and it’s fast.
