    Hello,

I was wondering what the best settings for export are for online festival submission. Obviously, the spec requirements differ from festival to festival. But I’m choosing to use the Withoutabox imdb upload option.

Withoutabox allows for up to 10g but Prores codec is NOT allowed. They prefer H.264 and MP4

    Some details:
The film was shot 4:2:2 and is 16 bit color.
The film was finished on Prores422 HQ

What would be the best export settings within the limits of withoutabox allows? Can anyone knowledgeable about online screeners run me through the export settings of After Effects or Media Encoder? Also, would uploading up to 10g on IMDB with uncompressed audio be a problem for streaming when the festivals are watching?

    Thanks in advance.

On a side note: many festivals ask for 24fps, 25fps, or 30fps for online screeners. Of course, you should follow the festival’s requirements, but would it be a problem to send them a file with 23.976?

No answers? T.T Were my questions too general?
