Best Export Settings for HDV footage to DVD

Dave,
Something just hit me.
Could the problem be that I did not convert
the HDV footage before log and capture?

Is converting the footage to a friendlier
format before log and capture even better?
(For next time, I mean, since this project is
already edited.)

Should I choose sequence preset
“Apple ProRes 422 NTSC 48 kHz Anamorphic”
or is one of the HQ settings better?
(Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) etc….)

I suppose it would make sense for the
sequence setting and the export setting
to be identical.
