Best Export Settings
Hi. I am asking for help to get the best export settings for a DVD.
Here is the scoop: Our client gave us a single DVD; we added subtitles in Final Cut, then exported the video. Now the video won’t fit on a single DVD.
We have tried H.261, and Uncompressed, and several others. We can’t beat this thing. Any advice? What do you consider to be the best export CODEC for SD, 720X480 video?

What type of DVD are you trying to make…
one that plays in a DVD player or a data disc?

In a DVD player. I am helping another editor out. I am an Avid editor. She is overwhelmed by the export settings.
