    Hello to all.

I wanna buy a QuadG5… and Motion it’s gonna be one of the primary apps on this computer…

    my question it’s simple… 23″ or 30″ Cinema Display?

I like the 30″ of course.. buy my knowledge in computers says:

more resolution equals to less performance.

does anybody have any experience.. I will have more Motion performance with a 23″ instead of a 30″?

    thanks”

I’m very happy with my 23″ HDCD and x800. Particles and animated Replicators can bring it to its knees occasionally, but I can deal with that.

The 30″ is a beauty to behold, but I personally find the icons get too small for these old eyes.

You might consider this: get the 23″ and with the money you save upgrade your video card.

What Jim said. I’ve used both sizes, and unless you’re working on 1920×1080 HD all day, the 30″ ends up with a lot of wasted space. Sink the difference in price into a 7800GT upgrade card for your system. Your wallet (and Motion) will thank you 🙂

    Thanks,

In this case the choice have something of “aesthetic” since it’s a “client” room.. but I will not sacrifice performance for an aesthetic issue.

I will have the ATI XT850X as soon as they appear on the market… (my dealer expect them for mid january).

If booth perform the same I will go with the 30″.

    thanks!!!!
