    have a Samsung SSD 850 EVO (500GB), and a 2TB HDD 7200RPM.

For After Effects, my Media Cache is on my SSD, which is how it should be, correct? But I’m not sure how I should set everything else up for After Effects and Premiere Pro.

Like should I have my video files on my 2TB HDD, while editing. Or would it be better to transfer the video files I’ll need, when editing, to my SSD.

And also for Premiere what should I change the Scratch Disks to (Captured Video, Captured Audio, Video Previews, Audio Previews, Project Auto Save, CC Libraries Downloads)?

Can anyone help with all of this and any other settings I might need to change to get the best performance, out of my SSD and HDD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
