    Hi Guys,

I’m working on a music video and the footage was shot at 29.97 rather than 24p.

Because I know 24p is supposed to look for ‘magic’, I was hoping to convert / export a 24p file for upload.

    1. does this make sense (ie. will a music video possibly look nicer at 24p when uploaded to youtube?)

    &

    2. If I do want to export a 24p file, should I just my project settings to 24p and it will do the auto pull down thing, or is there any better steps (like reformatting the footage before editing or something)?

    Thanks!

Not necessarily, and it could make it look worse if you didn’t shoot with 24p in mind because which pans can look very jerky.

Just render to 24p. Vegas will take care of it.
