  • Best Compression Technique for DVCPRO-HD 720P/N for SD DVD via FCP/Compressor to DVD Studio Pro?

Aquired on HVX-200. Shot DVCPRO HD-720P/N.
Cut in Final Cut Pro in 720P 24fps timeline.
    It’s a 30 second spot.

Now I want to compress using compressor and burn to DVD in DVD studio Pro 4.
I’m using Standard Def DVD’s that will be played on SD televisions on a computer through the DVD Player.
My question is what is the “best” way (meaning the ABSOLUT HIGHEST QUALITY) that I can get out of this setup with these programs?
Even though I’ll being going to SD NTSC DVD’s I would like to think that since the footage was aquired in HD that the “oversampling” theory will make the footage really shine (even though it’s going to SD).
Are there any settings in compressor that will alow me to keep the highest HD “look” in SD.
    Does this make sense?
    Michael
