Best compression settings/workflow to Burn a short to DVD
Hello everyone,
I’m gonna start this post the same way lots of folks did, buy saying I’m sorry, I know a lot of threads have been on this but still I couldn’t find the answer i’m looking for.So: I have a 4 min short that is just out of colorisation. I therefore have an HD uncompressed 10 bits 422 .mov file of around 50gigs.
Now I want to put it on dvd for distribution. What is the best way/setting/workflow to compress it and put it on dvd.
I looked into compressor but the predefined compression settings are for 90/120 minutes films, mine is 4 minutes so there must be a way I can save on quality by not using those 90/120 minutes settings.

Use the 90 minute.
DVDs have a maximum bandwidth. Exceed it and the DVD won’t play. The 90 min is (more or less) the maximum.
