May 10, 2007 at 8:02 pmI see you mentioned that your video is 12 minutes. YouTube limits your video to 10 minutes. Here is the official wording from YouTube.
“All videos uploaded to YouTube have a 100MB file size limit. The longer the video is, the more compression will be required to fit it into that size. For that reason, most videos on YouTube are under five minutes long and there is a 10-minute length limit for all videos.”

I’ve even seen 1 hour videos. -

I’ve even seen 1 hour videos.”That must be done at the “Director” level.
The quality for “Director” level videos is much higher as well.Under 10 minute clips are free to post.
