  BEST compression for iPod/Android APP

  A friend of mine is creating an iPhone app that is basically an hour of instructional videos that a user downloads to their phone. We are looking for the best possible compression to submit to Apple or eventually the Android market.

  Is there an accepted process, method and compression level for this type of thing? I have not compressed anything for delivery through the App store and am having trouble finding documentation. Obviously looking for the best compromise between file size and quality.

  Video was originally shot on an HPX170 at 720p.
