I am creating a DVD. Can you please give me the different opinions as to which compressor is best. Specifically Quicktime/Animation vs. Microsoft DV AVI/DV NTSC. Thanks in advanced

    Project is
    720 x 480 16:9
    SD

    Source footage is SD also

If it’s for DVD it needs to Mpeg2 for the video and Dolby Digital for the audio. You can also get away with PCM audio and a lot of times mpeg audio. If you’re talking about what setting to work with when editing Microsoft DV is the easiest.
