best compression codec for a video thats basically a photo slideshow
The project weighs in at about 32 gig (1920×1080) in pro rez, which is way too big. I need it down to 3 gig max really.. small enough that it can be uploaded anyway.
The project was originally created in motion – 99% is still images fading from one to another, they were all originally in jpg format (no tiffs), but has a tiny bit of video.
Just wondering if there’s any advice as to what codec would be best for something thats mainly still photographs for quality / size etc?

Hmm.. I’ve tried that and the colours still seem somewhat washed out – the blacks look really lightened.
Would jpeg compression work any better?
..actually wow, just noticed. When I import the image to motion it actually looks somewhat more washed out and colourless when on the canvas in motion to begin with than the original file, whats going on here?
