Best Camera?
I’m in the process of buying a new camera. My wife and I got married this past may and my parents offered to buy us a camera as a wedding present. I’m guess my parents are willing to spend up to about $1000 dollars. I’m not specifically looking for a Cannon camcorders, but does anyone have any suggestions on good camcorders, or prosumer cameras in that range.
I personally do a lot of video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design, so I am new to video hardware scene. If you have any good suggestions or know of a good website where I can find out information and compare I would really appreciate the insight. Thanks!

The best around that price range is the Canon HV20 or HV30 (tape).
Or the HG10 or HG20 (hard drive). All HD. jk
