    hello,
I am new to the forum, but I have read through to get advice before. I am about to shoot a dance with a Sony HVR-S270U and they want the final product on blu-ray. I want to know the best camera settings for this project. I tried to make a blu-ray from some video shot with a jvc hd110u before, but the video looked really jurky and it jumped when there was full frame motion, like panning the camera. I am going to edit on Premiere Pro CS5 and authoring with Encore CS5. Has anyone had this issue and how did you solve it. Thank you for all of the knowledge!

60i will give you smoother motion then say 24p.

If you want specific settings you should post in the camera forum. You should also be testing the complete workflow if you are not 100% sure of the results if this is a paying gig. Advice is good but it is your butt on the line, always test first.
