I’ve been using Synchronize Pro X in its iterations for several years and have been very satisfied. Now that we are setting up a new studio and new iMacPro with Sierra OS, Qdea (authors of the app) clearly state that the app will not do “Bootable System Backups on Sierra OS”. I contacted the company to find out when they would, and they replied that they do not comment on future products.

What are you veteran “cutters and slicers” out there using to do your regular “Bootable System Backups”?

Which programs have you found to be solid/trustworthy for OS SIERRA???

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I use Carbon Copy Cloner. They keep it up to date with the latest macOS and it’s been working great for years. It even copies the hidden recovery partition. I’ve restored from it several times over the years and I’ve never had a problem.

I did a test with Super Duper and High Sierra and my mb air rebooted from the external disk without issues. I use this software but never had to restore anything.
