Best book for Avid MC6
Posted by Rainer Wirth on May 26, 2013 at 12:47 pmHi folks,
I’m a final cut user switching over to Avid. I’ve had a good book for FCP at the beginning from Lisa Brenneis. I want one for Avid MC6. Any recommondations?
thanks,
Rainer Wirth

May 28, 2013 at 7:36 amI think books are still great when it comes to learning the fundamentals.
My favourite is the Avid Learning Series – a total of 5 (expensive) books. This is volume 1:

May 30, 2013 at 12:53 pmI’m with Kevin on this one. I think his library of free tutorials are truly excellent. And there are other great free online lessons, just a Google/ YouTube search away.
Avid books are fine, but tend to be costly.
I have found some Avid books available online from my local public library and I have requested others.
Books = good. Public Libraries = better. Free Public education from teachers = Amazing.
