Best Avid dve with light reflection
am doing a show that takes us back to the mid 90’s when avid was just a sparkle in your eyes and final cut was never even heard of. anyway, we’re copying some on air newscasts, and want to duplicate the light refections so commonly found in dve’s in news, sports, and entertainment shows of the era. i know in the internal PIP, there is a light paramater, but it isn’t really what i’m looking for. i also have access to boris bcc 4.2 and avid fx. any ideas which would be easiest to use?

specular in AE is prolly what ya want. You can animate real lights with it to.
Avid’s hilights have much to be desired.
Something that has not changed since ’95 with MC v5.
