I would like to edit my audio in a real Audio program for a short film I’m premiering in two weeks. I want to maintain my tracks by using, say, something that will take in a .omf but I don’t have any hardware budget for something like protools. What would be my best bet for a software only platform that I can import files with multitrack support?

So are you going to be doing something aside from a basic mix, like ADR, sound design, or music score for example, that would require dedicated audio software?
It seems kind of late in the game to be thinking about exporting the audio for remixing
into a new audio app that your not fimilar with only 2 weeks before the premiere of your film.
