December 3, 2007 at 9:03 pmI’m not sure it supports 1920 x 1200 through component. Many screens and switchers will only supoport SMPTE resolutions through component. That could be the culprit.
The FCP monitor was indeed connected through an HDMI to DVI adapter, and I think he was using a decklink card. I guess we are getting somewhere…

Yeah, I can see it looking good with that type of connection, since in that scenario the monitor is basically acting like a computer monitor (as far as the monitor hardware goes) and it is a great computer monitor.
Just like I’m sure the monitor would look good for me if I got an HD-SDI to DVI converter and plugged it in to the Xena card that way.
