I want to now what the best 3d motion tracking software is. I’ve used Boujou, but don’t like it because it can never seem to get the axes right (x, y, z). Please tell me what you thin the best software is. Price is not an object.

PFtrack or PFmatchit or Syntheyes is good and simple.

The Foundry has CameraTracker – which is a plug-in for After Effects. Very inexpensive compared to the other options, and does a really good job. I believe its the same tracker that is in Nuke, just for AE.

Can someone help me out with a PFMatchIt question?

I have a project file that has 8 stills and four videos from four cameras. I have everything set up for the user tracks so everybody on my team can essentially just pull in the files they need, link them to the right path and start tracking. One problem.

Where does PFMatchIt save the project file so I can send everyone on the team the file?
